A woman was shocked to discover that her husband allowed his ex-girlfriend to stay at their home without asking her first.

In a recent Reddit post, the 31-year-old shared that she “came home from a work trip last week to find a woman’s toiletries in my bathroom.”

At first, she understandably “panicked,” but her husband tried to reassure her that it wasn’t a big deal.

“My husband (33M) casually said, ‘Oh, that’s Jenna’s. She’s crashing in the guest room for a few days,'” she recalled. “Jenna is his ex from college. The one he swore he ‘hasn’t talked to in years.’ ”

According to the husband, Jenna was “in between apartments” and “had nowhere else to go.”

“He didn’t even text me about it, just thought I’d be ‘fine with it,'” she added.

However, when she voiced her discomfort about the situation, he dismissed her feelings.

“When I said I wasn’t comfortable, he called me ‘insecure’ and said, ‘It’s not like I’m cheating,'” she wrote.

Nearly a week later, the ex is still staying with them, and the woman said it’s been deeply unsettling watching the two interact.

“They cook dinner together. Watch shows together. I feel like a stranger in my own house,” she wrote.

So, she turned to Reddit to ask if she was just “being paranoid or if this crosses a huge line” — and nearly everyone in the comments took her side.

“I’d pack my things and leave. That’s so disrespectful,” one person replied, to which another agreed, “You’re not paranoid, you’re being disrespected. He invited emotional chaos into your home without your consent. You don’t need to catch him cheating for this to be betrayal.”

“He ‘never talks to her.’ But he was her call when she was inbetween places?” a third person questioned.

“I have never seen a flag in such a vibrant shade of red,” someone else chimed in.
