In addition to deals, Target has been helping shoppers all season long by staying open later, but that won’t be true on Christmas Eve.

According to Target, stores will be open on Christmas Eve from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Locations will be closed on Christmas Day.

Target closes early on Christmas Eve, but the retail chain had been offering extended shopping hours. From Nov. 29 to Dec. 23, stores were open from 7 a.m. until midnight.

The retailer also noted that more checkout lanes and drive up spots for store pickup were added to help with the holiday season shopping rush.

Is Target offering any special shopping deals on Christmas Eve 2025?

Target is known for its Black Friday deals, and the discounts and specials kept coming throughout December, with select toys, books, electronics and more marked down.

The retail giant also has a Deal of the Day, which offers an exclusive discount on select items for a limited time. According to Target, the Deal of the Day promotion started on Nov. 1 and will run through Dec. 24, Christmas Eve.
