“It’s a dump! Did you see the people? The elderly people? Why do I want to look at that? This is a f–ked-up situation. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve asked that I be moved from this floor,” she tells journalist Jessica Bennett.
Wendy is living in a studio apartment on the memory floor. Her court-appointed guardian, the elder-care attorney Sabrina Morrissey, is allegedly strict about what she can and cannot do. She reportedly doesn’t even want the New Jersey native to have access to an iPad.
But there is one new thing she’s been enjoying lately: attending a Brooklyn megachurch.
“It gives me faith and keeps me very well in touch with God and myself,” she tells the journalist, along with sharing that the pastor of the church was once a guest on The Wendy Williams Show.
Earlier this year, Wendy spoke about what she plans to do once her guardianship ends. The legal battle is ongoing, but the court is expected rule on her guardianship status in November.
