Earlier this week, the 79-year-old POTUS hosted a summit for various European leaders, also attended by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to speak about the Russia and Ukraine war that has been ensuing since 2022.

Fox News reports that Trump made a statement on a hot mic, which is a live microphone where the wearer is often heard when they perhaps wouldn’t want to be. He apparently told French President Emmanuel Macron that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to make a deal to end the war in Ukraine specifically for Trump.
“I think he [Putin] wants to make a deal. I think he wants to make a deal for me, you understand that? As crazy as it sounds,” Trump allegedly said.
