Todd and Julie Chrisley’s son Kyle is arrested for domestic assault months after parents were pardoned by Trump

Todd and Julie Chrisley’s son Kyle Chrisley was arrested in Tennessee on Saturday night.

The 34-year-old child of the Chrisley Knows Best stars is facing multiple charges including domestic assault, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.

He is also being charged for allegedly assaulting a first responder and resisting arrest, according to TMZ.

Additionally, Kyle is reportedly facing three charges for retaliation for past actions —meaning he possibly harmed or threatened someone in connection to their former actions against him.

Per the outlet, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kyle around 7pm, later booking him at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.

Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, were both convicted in 2022 for orchestrating a $30 million bank fraud and tax evasion scheme. They were serving multi-year sentences before they were pardoned by President Donald Trump in May.

Kyle has a history of trouble with the law, and in March 2023 turned himself in after an altercation with a supervisor at Penske Rental Truck in Smyrna, Tennessee.

Todd shares Kyle and daughter Lindsie, 36, with ex-wife, Teresa Terry. He shares sons Chase, 29, and Grayson, 19, and daughter Savannah, 28, with Julie.

In 2016, amid Kyle’s battles with addiction and bipolar disorder, Todd and Julie were awarded full custody of his 13-year-old daughter Chloe, whom he shares with Angela Johnson.

Savannah became Chloe and Grayson’s guardian when her dad was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison and her mom sentenced to seven.

Kyle and Todd had a tense relationship after his parents gained custody of his daughter, but they later reconciled.

The troubled son gave his dad a warm social media tribute in July 2021, thanking him for ‘guiding’ him ‘despite everything I’ve put him through.’

He wrote on Instagram at the time: ‘Listening to old country radio today and George Strait’s song “Love Without End, Amen” came on and I couldn’t help but think about everything my daddy has done for me despite everything I’ve put him through.

‘No matter my wrongs he’s there to guide and help me through. @toddchrisley I love you so much and I will forever be grateful for your love and grace.’

While her parents were behind bars, Savannah campaigned tirelessly for their early release.

During a May press conference, Todd was asked by journalists whether he feels any remorse over his conviction, to which he firmly hit back.

‘I would have remorse if it was something that I did,’ he said. ‘The corruption that went on in our case is going to continue to unfold.’

The former USA Network star and his wife were both convicted in 2022 for orchestrating a $30 million bank fraud and tax evasion scheme and began their prison terms in 2023.

Julie was serving time in Kentucky while Todd was in Florida.

But in late May, President Trump personally called their daughter to inform her of his bombshell decision to grant the couple clemency.
