‘This Is Us’ Reunion: Mandy Moore Joins Dan Fogelman’s New Hulu Drama!


Mandy Moore is teaming up again with This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman for his next big project.

The 41-year-old actress and singer will star as a series regular opposite Christopher Meloni and William H. Macy in Hulu’s upcoming untitled football drama, according to Deadline.

The series is set inside the world of the NFL and will feature a generational family storyline at its center. Mandy is set to play Lauren, the daughter of NFL team owner Hank Durkin (Macy) and his heir apparent. Christopher will star as Danny Roarke, the team’s head coach.

This marks Dan’s second Hulu series following Paradise, which stars Mandy’s former This Is Us co-star Sterling K. Brown. That series premiered in January, has already been renewed for Season 2, and scored four Emmy nominations including Outstanding Drama Series.

Mandy, who earned an Emmy nomination for her role as Rebecca Pearson on This Is Us, recently wrapped the feature comedy The Breadwinner with Nate Bargatze and voices a role in Prime Video’s animated series #1 Happy Family USA.
