The Hunting Wives is a big hit after season one was released on Netflix, thought a second season on the streamer isn’t exactly a guarantee.
The show was originally made for Starz, but Lionsgate Television took control of the series after splitting from the network and then sold the show to Netflix.
The Hunting Wives isn’t considered a Netflix original for season one, but there’s always the possibility that the streamer will acquire the rights to the show in order to continue it.
Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman lead the series, which follows “Sophie (Snow) and her family’s move from the East Coast to deep East Texas, where she succumbs to socialite Margo Bank’s (Akerman) irresistible charms – and finds her life consumed by obsession, seduction, and murder.”
If the show gets renewed, there are several actors who definitely will not be back.
