On Monday, Oct. 13, it was revealed that the 35-year-old “Opalite” hitmaker was releasing two new projects on Disney+ that have to do with her Eras Tour.

First up is The End of an Era, a six-part docuseries charting “the development, impact, and inner-workings that created the phenomenon that was The Eras Tour,” according to a press release. The project “gives an intimate look at Taylor’s life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world.” The first two episodes of it will premiere on Disney+ on Dec. 12. Each week, two new episodes will be released.

Also on Dec. 12, Swift will premiere Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show. This is a live recording of her final performance on The Eras Tour, which took place on Dec. 8, 2024 at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Canada.

The filmed concert will include footage of her performances from her album The Tortured Poets Department. The era was not included in her first concert film for the Eras Tour, since the album had not yet been released.

“She’s at it again. Taylor Swift shattering records with the biggest album debut in history with over 4 million units. And now tomorrow morning, GMA has a huge new exclusive announcement on Taylor. So, what’s next for her? Find out on Good Morning America,” the morning show teased on Sunday, Oct. 12 in a video on X.

Her big reveal comes shortly after she unleashed her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, on Oct. 3. Swift paired the release with an exclusive experience in AMC movie theaters — The Official Release Party of a Showgirl.

Swifties who attended the screening were treated to lyric videos for each song on the album as well as a first look at the music video for the album’s first track, “The Fate of Ophelia.”

The album was breaking records before and after its release, becoming Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day this year on Oct. 3.

One thing that fans are still waiting for is “Taylor’s Version” of her self-titled first album and 2017’s Reputation, along with its “vault” tracks.

The pop titan began re-recording her first six albums, releasing them alongside previously unheard songs from her “vault” after Scooter Braun purchased her masters in 2019.

Swift then regained control of her masters in May 2025, leaving the fate of the final two albums hanging in question.

“I know, I know. What about Rep TV? Full transparency: I haven’t even re-recorded a quarter of it. The Reputation album was so specific to that time in my life, and I kept hitting a stopping point when I tried to remake it. All that defiance, that longing to be understood while feeling purposely misunderstood, that desperate hope, that shame-born snarl and mischief,” she informed fans in a statement shared on her social media account at the time.

Continuing, she wrote, “To be perfectly honest, it’s the one album in those first 6 that I thought couldn’t be improved upon by redoing it. Not the music, or the photos, or videos. So I kept putting it off. There will be a time (if you’re into the idea) for the unreleased vault tracks from that album to hatch.”

“I’ve already completely re-recorded my entire debut album, and I really love how it sounds now. Those 2 albums can still have their moments to re-emerge when the time is right, if that would be something you guys would be excited about. But if it happens, it won’t be from a place of sadness and longing for what I wish I could have. It will just be a celebration now,” Swift said.

The moment that Swift’s big GMA announcement was first teased, some fans speculated that the hitmaker might be announcing plans for a tour. However, they might be waiting for a while before she returns to the road.

While promoting her new album with an interview on BBC Radio 1 on Oct. 3, the day her album was released, Swift revealed that she didn’t plan to head out on a tour anytime soon. The revelation came less than a year after the conclusion of her massive Eras Tour.

Swift wrapped up the record-breaking show, which grossed more than $2 billion in ticket sales, in December 2024. Performing her final show, the hitmaker described the experience as “the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date.”

Reflecting on the experience 10 months later, she told BBC Radio 1 host Greg James that the experience was “such an honor” and credited fans for making the show something that “exceeded any of our expectations.”

“I knew it was crazy what was happening. We have never had anything happen like that. I’ve been with my band for a very long time. My tour, my crew, my touring family, my team … we’re all very close and have been forever and none of us have ever had anything like that happen,” she recalled.

Despite the amazing experience, Swift clearly told James, 39, that she wasn’t ready for another tour anytime soon.

“I’m gonna be really honest with you. Like, I am so tired when I think about doing it again because I would want to do it really, really well again,” she explained, adding, “I’m so good right now.”

The Life of a Showgirl just dropped, but Swift already has another huge project on the horizon — planning her wedding to Travis Kelce.

The couple announced their engagement in August 2025. However, during an Oct. 9 appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, she implied that she would turn her attention to planning now that the album campaign was wrapping up.

“We’re towards the tail end of the release week, and it’s like, it’s about time that I start thinking about this,” she told host Seth Meyers, who raised two concerns and shared some wisdom with the bride-to-be.

Despite being in the early phases of planning, Swift and Kelce could have a very famous face officiate their nuptials. During an interview with Ryan Seacrest, the American Idol host offered to marry the couple.

An exclusive source also recently told PEOPLE that Swift was looking forward to this next stage of her life.

“She’s been super focused on work commitments. She’s not kidding when she says she’s exhausted. She’s ready for a break so she can focus on the wedding,” the insider explained, adding, “She’s very excited about planning the wedding.”

Swift is also using some of her newly found free time to support Kelce. On Sunday, Oct. 12, she returned to Arrowhead Stadium to cheer him on at the Kansas City Chiefs’ latest game, which they won 30-17. She was photographed at the game against the Detroit Lions alongside Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, and WNBA star and Chiefs fan Caitlin Clark.
