Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left cringing at a very ‘awkward’ moment during Saturday night’s live show, with some begging for it to ‘stop’.
Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and his professional dance partner Karen Hauer performed the Rumba to a rendition to Roxette’s 1992 smash hit, It Must Have Been Love.
The Latin ballroom dance – known to be a slow and sensual – is famous for its subtle hip action and body movement and Harry’s performance certainly left judges Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas hot under the collar.
After Harry, who was wearing an undone sheer blue shirt to showcase his washboard abs finished the dance, when Tess asked him how he felt, he replied: ‘I’m a bit embarrassed to be honest!’
However judges Motsi and Shirley had no complaints for the racy rumba and focused on the chemistry between the pair.
Giving her feedback, Motsi said: ‘I think you did really well with your partnering skills. I think you were there for her. She was up, down, left, right – we saw her flying and that’s a talent that you have to learn and feel.’

Agreeing with a similar comment Craig Revel-Horwood gave, Motsi then continued: ‘Yes we could have had a bit more transferring weight to make it softer, but can we all speak about the chemistry!’
With the audience screaming in agreement, Motsi then shouted: ‘It was hot!’ before she and Shirley proceeded to uncontrollably laugh and giggle.
As the camera panned to host Tess Daley she said: ‘I don’t know what you’ve done to this lot, but they’ve gone a bit silly!’
When it came to Shirley’s turn to give her constructive criticism, after composing herself, she said: ‘I agree with Motsi. The chemistry and the narrative and the storyline and the sensuality was all there’.
Harry and Karen – who both have long term partner – looked visibly awkward and when up in the Clauditorium, tried to make light of the situation.
Karen quickly said: ‘We’re not the sexy type. It feels awkward’ to which Claudia replied: ‘My favoutite thing was watching you because when Motsi said about the chemistry, you both went “Urgh!”. You found that bit really hard didn’t you?’
Trying to squash an awkwardness, Harry replied: ‘I’m no actor, I’m not sensual, I’m quite goofy, in I? Do you know what I mean?
‘I had to try and be this…person. It was really challenging, but we’re here to embrace it.’
