Starbucks’ Fan-Favorite Apple Crisp Drinks Are Coming Back Sooner Than Fans Thought

Apple Crisp is making an earlier-than-anticipated arrival at Starbucks.

The autumn flavor will land back on menus on Thursday, Oct. 9, the coffee giant confirmed to PEOPLE, noting that customers “could not contain their excitement” for its release. Apple Crisp was previously set to join the rest of the fall lineup on Oct. 14.

The Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, Apple Crisp Cream Cold Foam and a new Apple Crisp Protein Cold Foam are all among the options for apple lovers to choose from, for a limited time while supplies last.

The first item includes Starbucks Blonde Espresso, along with notes of apple, cinnamon and brown sugar.

The two cold foams can be added to any cold drink beverage. The Apple Crisp Protein Cold Foam adds 15 grams of protein to a grande-sized order and comes 10 days after Starbucks’ Protein Lattes and Protein Cold Foam made their debut.

When the coffee chain revealed its fall 2025 menu in August, with a cozy array of pumpkin and pecan items, some customers expressed disappointment that apple wasn’t in the mix.

The brand’s Apple Crisp Macchiato first launched in 2021, and apple-flavored drinks were a seasonal staple the past few autumns.

When Starbucks shared an Instagram video on Aug. 18 teasing the Pumpkin Spice Latte, commenters were quick to request the fruity favorite.

“@starbucks where is the apple crisp oatmilk macchiato? How can you not have an apple crisp flavor during FALL?!?” someone wrote.

“It’s not fall without apple crisp 🍎🍏 guess I’ll need to figure out how to make apple crisp shaken espressos at home 😢,” read another comment.

One month later, on Sept. 18, Starbucks announced it would be bringing back Apple Crisp after all.

Other offerings on Starbucks’ fall 2025 menu include the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai, Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte and the new Pecan Oatmilk Cortado.
