Despite an image circulating on social media and various media reports claiming that the rapper apologized on a post about his viral comments regarding LGBTQ+ representation in Lightyear, that all appears to be fake.

There is no apology from Snoop on his social media, and sources tell Deadline that there was no statement issued from him either.

If you are not familiar, Snoop made an appearance and talked about taking his grandson to see Lightyear, which has a same-sex storyline where a couple raises a child together.

“I didn’t come in for this sh–. I just came to watch the goddamn movie,’” Snoop Dogg recalled.
