The Home Improvement trio will be showing support to Tim‘s character, Matt Parker, “in an expected way,” while details on their roles are being kept under wraps at this time.
Shifting Gears centers on “Matt, the stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. When his estranged daughter, Riley (Kat Dennings), and her kids move into his house, the real restoration begins.”
If you forgot, Patricia played Tim‘s wife Jill Taylor on Home Improvement, while Richard played his friend and co-host Al Borland, and Debbe played “Tool Time girl” Heidi from seasons 3-8.
This won’t be the first time Tim has reunited with a former co-star on Shifting Gears. In season one, his Last Man Standing TV wife Nancy Travis made an appearance.
Kat Denning‘s Dollface co-star Brenda Song also guest starred in season one, as one of her character’s former high school classmates.
Shifting Gears season two is set to premiere on Wednesday, October 1st. Find out more upcoming ABC premieres here!
