Sharon Stone Was a Support System For Friend Eric Dane When He Was Trying to Book ‘Euphoria’ Role


Sharon Stone is opening up about her support for Eric Dane during audition process for Euphoria.

The 67-year-old actress, who is set to join the cast of the HBO series‘ upcoming final season, recently revealed that she spent time with him when he was tryin to get that job.

Eric and I have been friends for a long time. A long time,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “And I actually was like his support staff when he was trying to get the job on Euphoria. So he would come over to my house and bring me gluten-free cookies, and we’d sit and discuss it because he really wanted that job.”

“So it means the world to me that he got that job in time,” she added while getting emotional.

Sharon‘s emotions come months after her longtime friend shared his ALS diagnosis earlier this summer.

While she won’t spill the beans on her role, Sharon shared her excitement about joining the third season.

“We’re not having any discussions about what’s happening on that set, except to say that I couldn’t be more delighted to be a part of it,” she dished.
