Sen. Cory Booker is married!
The 56-year-old New Jersey senator married his fiancé Alexis Lewis, 38, in Washington, DC, less than three months after announcing their engagement.

“Overflowing with gratitude. We said ‘I do’ in two places that shaped us—Cory’s beloved Newark and Alexis’s hometown of Washington, D.C.—first at the courthouse, then with our families. Hearts full and so grateful,” they wrote in a joint statement on social media, along with wedding photos. See her wedding gown!
The two celebrated in an interfaith ceremony blessed by both a pastor and a rabbi, as she is Jewish and he is Christian, according to the New York Times.
The two first met in May 2024 through a mutual friend known for matchmaking, according to the report.
If you didn’t know, Cory revealed that he and Alexis had been together for about a year and a half back in August, and they share a home together in Washington, DC.
Alexis is reportedly in real estate investment, serving as Senior Vice President of Investments at Brasa Capital Management. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from NYU and an MBA in Hospitality and Real Estate Development from Cornell University.
