Guillermo del Toro‘s new Frankenstein film has a release date from Netflix, and two new posters!
The film is based on the classic novel “Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus” by Mary Shelley.
The movie follows the tale of Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist who brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.
Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz and more star. Jacob portrays Frankenstein’s monster, Oscar portrays Victor Frankenstein, and Mia portrays Elizabeth, Victor’s fiancée. In addition, Christoph plays Harlander, who is Victor’s patron.
The movie will be released in select theaters on October 17 before becoming available to stream on Netflix on November 7.
