Sabrina Carpenter Delivers NSFW SNL Monologue & Performs In Her Underwear! – Perez Hilton

Sabrina Carpenter has a message for people who think she’s too “horny”!

The Espresso singer pulled double duty as this week’s host AND musical guest on Saturday Night Live, and brought her signature… erm… eccentricities with her! During her opening monologue, the 26-year-old addressed all the backlash surrounding her album cover for Man’s Best Friend. You know the one!

She joked that if you uncrop the photo, you’ll find SNL’s Bowen Yang helping her up off the ground after Martin Short pushed her down at the buffet line. LOLz!

After that, she went on to “clear up some misconceptions people have” about her — including the belief among some critics that her music and performances are too sexual! She told the audience:

“Everyone thinks of me as this, like, horn-dog pop star, but there’s really so much more to me. I’m not just horny, I’m also turned on, and I’m sexually charged, and I love to read. My favorite book is the encyclopedia. It’s so big, and it’s hard — wait, seriously, okay, sorry!”

Later on in the episode, the Feather singer delivered a scandalous performance of her hit song Manchild… In her underwear! In a stage in what’s supposed to mimic a young woman’s bedroom, she dances around the room in nothing but a cropped yellow shirt that says, “Live from New York” and pink undies that say, “It’s Saturday Night!” Watch (below):

Sabrina followed up with a performance of her song Nobody’s Son, which is set in a martial arts dojo. Watch (below):

Fun!
