Renee Zellweger Unveils a ‘Bridger Jones’ Statue in London’s Leicester Square

Renee Zellweger‘s beloved British character Bridget Jones has been immortalized forever!

The two-time Oscar-winning actress unveiled her new statue during a “Scenes in the Square” ceremony on Monday (November 17) at Leicester Square in London, England.

Renee was joined at the event by Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy co-stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Leo Woodall, and Sally Phillips, plus the book series’ author Helen Fielding.

“It seems really cute,” Renee told The Guardian about the statue. “I mean, it’s really so weird, but it’s really cute.”

Helen was asked if there is a possibility of a fifth film. She told BBC, “Never say never. Stories come to you as a writer. So if a story came to me that I thought was true and interesting and new then I would write it.”

Renee‘s boyfriend recently made a rare comment about their relationship.
