Reese Witherspoon is putting her charm on finance. Well, the actor recently unveiled her release of a great two-piece advertisement about her adventures around London for Wells Fargo in support of the Autograph Journey credit card. Throughout the commercial, the actress gets really into the London adventures, from taxi rides and checking into hotels to seeing Belgian sights-and, of course, earning tons of credit rewards.

Witherspoon captioned the post: “There’s nothing I love more than a little adventure. That’s why I’m so excited to partner with Wells Fargo on the Autograph Journey Card… because every trip deserves rewards.”
Intercut with her spontaneous-out-of-the-box exploration of London happening anywhere with her voice muttering, “I love this town,” are scenes of her experiencing various facets of local culture. Her enthusiasm undoubtedly helped make the financial product sound more like a gateway to adventures and less like just another banking tool.
The comment section was quickly overflooded with accolades for Witherspoon and the ad’s creativity, many also shares how the partnership felt meaningful given the commenters’ relationship with the financial company.
“I’ve been a Wells Fargo customer for a long time; this ad warms my heart with one of my favorite actresses,” pleaded an elderly Wells Fargo client. That was also somewhat echoing the feeling of another who stated, “Hilarious and been my bank for about 20 years or more lol” or in other words, saying there is hardly any way it could go wrong with this combination.
Plenty of praise was given to the commercial’s production values, while also highlighting Witherspoon’s acting talents: “Bravo to the creative at this agency,” seconded by another commenting, “adorable and super fun, thanks for showcasing your happy and beautiful personality.”
“A-go-go” comments included remarks on Witherspoon’s agelessness, “Reese looks younger than Scarlett Johansson does when the latter looks her oldest these days.” Another added, “And you look like you are in your 20’s,” suggesting that her youthful charisma continues to capture audiences.
The London setting also stoked excitement in overseas watchers. One predicted, “London will love you.” Another responded, “Would love to see the clock in person,” referring to one of the locations in the commercial.
Not all of the comments were in full praise. Another user dropped a curve in the mix by humorously commenting, “Reese, I’m going to need your legal representation for my case against Wells Fargo,” which was a much-appreciated reference to Witherspoon’s classic portrayal of lawyer Elle Woods in Legally Blonde.

This allowed the joint use of Witherspoon’s relatable and adventurous personality and Wells Fargo’s stated intent to carry forward the travel perks of their newest credit card offering to be a strategic one for both parties. The earnest enthusiasm of the actress throughout makes the financial product seem very real, fun-even with the kinship of a stale corporate snooze-fest. Reese has also celebrated motherhood with a heartfelt tribute. She is known for her empowering messages for women. Witherspoon has also dropped some genius creativity advice that everyone needs to hear. She recently shared an intimate New York Times interview with a striking photo. The star is also celebrating early copies of her “Gone Before Goodbye” thriller.
