“That’s the biggest cap I’ve ever heard,” the 44-year-old singer and reality TV star said. He said that he’s heard he had something to do with Whitney‘s death “since the beginning.”
Ray J, who was in a relationship with Whitney at the time of her passing, said that he never responded to the rumors previously because he didn’t feel the need to. He said, “When you know the truth, why do you have to jump out there and try to tell it to everybody? I didn’t care about what people were saying.”
Ray J said the two of them had been planning to go public with their relationship when she passed, but that he was performing in San Diego when it happened.
“I was nowhere to be found and I hate talking about it because I have so much love for her. I’ve never seen her in that state. So to make me that person when I wasn’t even there and then to put murderer on top of that, it’s f—ed up,” Ray J said on the podcast, refuting the rumors that he had found her body in the hotel room.
