The old-New Day is back-and until certain-expert-prank-time combinations-his trademark-based devilish workings-could spur brand-new waves of disbelief from people. Another one from Cody Rhodes‘ series of gross pranks targeted at fellow WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes, and the fans were left gasping for more. The Viper later shared a couple of behind-the-scenes moments with the Fireball Whisky and the unlucky victim who wasn’t Rhodes, but the chaos was equally wild post-prank.

Orton called it a “foolproof” prank and then laughed about Rhodes and his hair being untouchable. “He’s gonna kiss that hair goodbye, each and every strand, as soon as he takes a shower,” Orton smirked. The prank was supposedly working in front of the camera until it backfired a little when the wrong guy got doused with cinnamon-flavored whiskey. Orton smiles and said, “Wasn’t Cody.” “Not that bad of a look on that guy. Bet he could use a shot of Fireball.”

The moment went viral, with fans applauding Orton’s humor and some laughing their heads off and demanding that Orton should return to full-time wrestling. One fan jokingly remarked, “Bro doing anything but show up on SmackDown!” to which another replied, “Randy can do whatever he wants at this point in his career.” Other responses agreed and went on to reminisce about Orton’s dominant championship run, with one saying, “I miss when this man was world champion.”

Several, however, were not joking around. One threw shade at Orton, demanding him to retire because WWE treats him badly, while another derided his endorsement of Fireball Whisky, calling it all chemicals and suggesting Jack Fire instead. Setting the whiskey debate aside, however, the rest of the fans were just happy to see Orton return to full villainy, complete with that iconic smirk.

A crazy comeback then ensued, with someone asking, “Should I RKO my ex?” Some responses were enthusiastic “yes”es, while others were much more aggressive, like “Punt kick.” And another adds, “Let Randy do it for you,” solidifying that Orton’s standing as wrestling’s top troublemaker is far from fading.

Somewhere among the jokes, one fan hilariously confused Orton with “the Old Spice dude,” while another begged for him to train them to wrestle-albeit, obviously, this post had nothing to do with training for Cody Rhodes’ in-ring skills. Such random comments were the icing on the cake, plainly stating that fans were just excited to interact with one of the most legendary figures in WWE.

The Viper’s prank might have gone south for his initial intent, but this just shows how he still knows how to get a crowd either in the ring or with madness in cyberspace. Given what transpired, it looks like the people won’t really object to more pranks coming their way-from Orton, of course, and hopefully next time, it will be Cody Rhodes on the receiving end.
