Prince Harry Denies Airing Family’s ‘Dirty Laundry’ In Book – As He Says King Charles Will Be His ‘Focus’ After Reunion! – Perez Hilton

Prince Harry stands by everything he said!

In a candid new interview with The Guardian out on Sunday, the Duke of Sussex revealed he doesn’t think he spilled too much tea in his 2023 memoir, Spare! Even though it made his family feud so much worse!?

Hitting back at criticisms he shared too much, Harry insisted:

“I don’t believe that I aired my dirty laundry in public. It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear.”

Really??

Harry let it all out in the book — including detailing heated arguments with his brother, Prince William. He even broke down the wedding scandal between Meghan Markle and Princess Catherine, sharing receipts and all! So, if he wasn’t airing “dirty laundry,” what does he think he was doing?? The father of two explained:

“It was a series of corrections to stories already out there. One point of view had been put out and it needed to be corrected. I know that [speaking out] annoys some people and it goes against the narrative.”

Hah! That’s one way to make himself feel better about putting his family on blast for the whole world to read!

Harry said it was Meghan that taught him that telling the truth “is the most efficient way to live.” He took that advice to heart — something we bet his family hates! He noted:

“It is the thing I always fall back on. Always. And if you think like that, who would be stupid enough to lie? It takes up too much time and effort.”

Oof. Is he throwing some shade at his family? After THAT reunion?

As Perezcious readers know, after more than a year of separation, Harry finally met up with his father, King Charles III, last week for about an hour, where they connected over his kids and the monarch’s health. It was such a good visit that Harry wants to do more of it!

The 41-year-old told the outlet when asked if he’d like to “spend more time in the UK” and “bring his children one day”:

“Yes, I would. This week has definitely brought that closer.”

He added of his travels:

“I have enjoyed the week. I have always loved the U.K. and I always will love the U.K. It’s been good to reconnect with the causes I am passionate about. I have been able to spend some time with people that I have known for so long. It is hard to do it from far away.”

Oh, he REALLY regrets his decision to leave, doesn’t he??

But the good news for his budding new dynamic with Charles? Harry didn’t share any private details of their reunion! He wants to prove he’s trustworthy! All he said was that in the coming year, “the focus really has to be on my dad.” Good! Though, we sure hope that doesn’t mean he’s concerned about the 76-year-old’s health amid his cancer battle…

The Invictus Games founder also urged he’s “happy” — unlike what the British press often tries to claim:

“It is only in certain elements of the press where you see this talk about me being down or saying I am not smiling. This comes from people who think they know what I am thinking and how I am feeling. They are wrong. I think parts of the British press want to believe that I am miserable, but I’m not. I am very happy with who I am and I like the life that I live.”

Nice!

Seems like he’s getting everything he wanted — slowly but surely…

But do U really think he didn’t air any “dirty laundry”?! We doubt William sees it that way! Sound OFF (below)!
