Luke Macfarlane is looking back on a time when he nearly got into a bar fight with Jason Wahler.
The 45-year-old Platonic actor recently appeared on SiriusXM’s The Julia Cunningham Show to promote the second season of his Apple TV+ series and was asked if he ever watched The Hills.
This led to him sharing a story of when he first moved to Hollywood and meeting Spencer Pratt, who he then corrected to say he thinks it might’ve actually been Jason, also from The Hills.

“I met Spencer when I first moved to Hollywood, but that’s all. I think it was Spencer. Maybe it was Jason,” Luke said on the radio show. “They were together, and I don’t know the show well enough, but Jason tried to pick a fight with me.”
“He thought I was somebody else who was dating his ex-girlfriend and he pushed me at a bar,” Luke continued, adding that he just told this story to his Platonic co-star Seth Rogen, who is a fan of The Hills.
He then went on with his story, setting the scene, “I moved to the United States in 1999 and I was, yeah. I was there until 2006 in New York City, and then I moved out here. I had a television show on FX and it was like one of those young Hollywood parties.”
“And then he felt so bad he actually thought I was this named Josh Henderson,” the actor said. “He was in the Dallas reboot, and he was dating somebody that Jason was involved with and I’m going back to The Hills of it all, but he felt so bad, Jason. He was like, ‘I’m so sorry,’ and then he like wanted to buy me a shot and then he told me he was on the show called The Hills, and I was like, ‘Oh, okay.’”
