John Cena hits the stage in his full Peacemaker suit at the show’s panel at 2025 Comic-Con held at San Diego Convention Center on Saturday (July 26) in San Diego, Calif.
The 48-year-old star of the DC series was joined at the panel by co-stars Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, Frank Grillo, Tim Meadows and Sol Rodriguez, as well as writer and creator James Gunn.
At the Comic-Con panel, the season two trailer was revealed, as well as new details about what’s to come on the HBO Max series!

Here’s a synopsis: Peacemaker discovers an alternate world where life is everything he wishes it could be. But this discovery also forces him to face his traumatic past and take the future into his own hands.
It has been revealed that season two is set one month after the new Superman movie, with Nathan Fillion and Isabela Merced set to reprise their roles as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern and Hawkgirl, respectively.
Per Discussing Film, the new season will see the world not accepting Peacemaker as a hero, and he is in love with Emilia Harcourt (Holland).
The opening dance sequence will be bigger this season, with new characters and a different song.
Peacemaker season two will debut Thursday, August 21st at 9pm ET/PT on HBO Max.
