Olivia Munn Posts Sweet Photos of Her Daughter Méi Ahead of Her Upcoming First Birthday

Olivia Munn is celebrating her daughter Méi’s first birthday a few days early!

On Tuesday, Sept. 9, the actress, 45, marked her daughter’s upcoming first birthday with a series of cute photos posted on Instagram.

“My baby dragon turns ONE on Sunday!!! 🥰😭❤️,” Munn wrote in the caption. In the adorable snaps, the soon-to-be one-year-old was seen staring at the camera while sitting strapped in a stroller.

Munn and her husband John Mulaney welcomed their first child, son Malcolm Hiệp, on Nov. 24, 2021. They announced the arrival of their second child via surrogate, daughter Méi, in September 2024.

Munn’s latest post in honor of her daughter comes after she celebrated her baby girl turning 11 months in August.

“11 months of Méi ☀️,” Munn captioned a post on Instagram, marking the milestone. “She is the happiest baby. She is enamored with everything her big brother does and he adores her (thankfully 😅).”

The mom of two mentioned in the post Méi’s recent milestone of saying her first word “Mama 🥹,” her love for “going on walks” and her new favorite food being Pad Thai.

“She wakes up from sleeping with a big smile on her face every time (she gets that from John). She is 25 pounds of sunshine and love,” Munn continued. “Happy 11 months my Méi Méi girl … I’m so lucky. I get to spend the rest of my life being Méi and Malcolm’s mama,” she proudly added.

On Aug. 10, Munn posted a video on Instagram discussing in more detail Méi uttering her first word.

“Her first word was mama! I don’t have video proof of it yet but it’s true. It’s true. Can you say mama now? Can you say mama?” Munn said in the clip, prompting her little girl while holding her excitedly. 

“Her first word is Mama! 🥹🥰 And she surprised me by saying it on camera!! 😭 Although she upgraded to ‘Mom’ ” 😅,” she wrote in the caption “Malcolm’s first word was ‘Dada.’ Which I really loved for John because when he heard him say it his heart exploded. But with Méi, for all of the reasons, I was secretly praying for it to be Mama. 😭.”
