New York Giants rookie QB Jaxson Dart danced around some inherent preseason hype, now simmering, as he shows an air of calm efficiency. Dart has been a first-round choice, completing 26 of 35 passes for 291 yards, two touchdowns through the air in the two games, plus one rushing touchdown and no interceptions whatsoever.

Dart made his debut facing the Buffalo Bills going 12-for-19, 154 yards, and a touchdown before, however, shining brighter against the New York Jets, where he went 14-for-16 for 137 yards, and two yards on another touchdown, and one rushing touchdown. Considered against the statistics, it allows a cordial backdrop to the young passer’s great past, but some of the fans remain just a bit hesitant, emphasizing that glory in the preseason does not guarantee glory in the regular season.

One user sarcastically commented, “It’s preseason buddy. Put the boner away,” while another Eagles fan humbly admitted, “I bleed green for my Eagles and I will honestly say he looks nice… but real games are a whole other world.”

However, the video that complimented Adam Schefter’s tweet had many fans backward with its absurd and rapid-changing visuals, with many joking that they might have caused seizures. One fan joked, “Adam, I have epilepsy, and just woke up in the hospital thanks to this post,” while another simply said, “Delete and repost without that video/gif.”

Regardless of the variety of opinions among the crowd, some of the very excited Giants faithful are already in the noise, clamoring for Dart to be the starter. “NY Giants please play Jaxson Dart and start the rebuild!” one fan exclaimed. Others argued about the talent surrounding him, with one stating, “His offensive line is a pile of shit… Giants go 7-10 this season,” followed by another who stood up for the line, saying it has actually gotten better.

At least, with Dart’s early efficiency and decision-making, the Giants have been offered a little “food for thought” in evaluating their quarterback situation. It is yet to be confirmed if he will be able to sustain this against first-team defenses when games really start to matter. For the time, though, the rookie is making every shot count-even if watching his highlights is sometimes a double-edged threat to players and fans.
