If Mustard has completed what some would argue is the greatest moment in his career thus far, opening for Kendrick Lamar and SZA on the GNX Tour, a propitious occurrence with absolutely insane energy! DJ and producer Mustard took to Instagram and affirmed that playing in front of 39 stadiums filled to capacity is an experience Ambivert Lucha would never forget. The post was coupled with some pictures of good quality that merely portrayed the electrifying vibes of this tour— fans packed in, phones everywhere, and the lights shining on the stage_All I’ve been thinking about since the show is how amazing it was!

The caption went on to profess a heartfelt thank you to Kendrick and SZA for allowing Mustard to open their shows and an even bigger thanks to the people who showed up. “I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity,” he wrote. “I’m beyond inspired!” He respects the fans who were down to bring the energy up another notch, cutting loose in custom-made mustard tees (I swear these pups existed) to hype up the tour.
The response section was bombarded with heavy luv, and different folks were naming their favorite moments from the show. One user tagged the Detroit opener as “lit,” and another was throwing out Paris nostalgia-gas vibes, “fucking brazy.” Some fans took their adulation up a notch by jokingly questioning whether custom mustard bottle totems count as costumes.
The ones who kept the tone comical continued the shaming ones and called Mustard out for this recent weight loss, “Bro Mustard, give yo twin some Food for god’s sake. He looks like he’s been to Gaza or something.” Harsh? Yes. Hilarious? 100 percent.

It’s obvious the memory is still fresh in many minds as several fans claim their very best concert. One even pledged to raise that story with his future kids and call it a historic event in Hip Hop.
Now that this one is behind them, some fans are already begging for the next installment—that is to say, a Mustard world tour to headline! I’m pretty sure, from how this run went, the next one is not going to be too far down the road.

For now, Mustard is back home, refueled, and ready to get to work. Now if anything is setting up that next step, it is this very tour. The next step is huge.
