Molly Shannon and Will Ferrell will be reuniting for a new Netflix series!
On Wednesday (August 6), it was announced that the 60-year-old Emmy-nominated actress will be starring alongside her former Saturday Night Live co-star in an upcoming golf comedy series.
In the 10-episode series, Will, 58, will be playing Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins, a fictional golf legend while Molly will be playing his foul-mouthed ex-wife Stacy.

Originally, Will was set to star in the show alongside Ramy Youssef, with the two of them co-creating it alongside Josh Rabinowitz. However, last year, Ramy, Josh, as well as Andy Campagna of Ramy’s Cairo Cowboy production company all left the project due to creative differences, according to sources (via THR).
With a new team that includes Will‘s long-time friends and collaborators Chris Henchy and Harper Steele, the project is moving forward with more cast members to be announced soon.
It was also recently announced that Will Ferrell and former co-star Ryan Gosling will be starring together again in a new comedy movie!
