If it was anything to go by, Mike The Situation Sorrentino assuredly put on every starry-eyed netizen watching a heartwarming moment with his children. The Jersey Shore alum shared a clip of his little boys just laughing and playing together with the caption ‘Seeing my kids getting along, laughing and playing peacefully together for 14 seconds is the best thing I get to experience for the day’. That 14 seconds of smooth-but-cute bliss took down the happiness his kids stood to bring him before serenity would last for a few seconds and war begins all over again.

There were practically no dialogues in the clip: only kids’ laughter mingling with the crunching of crackers, making that one gigantic heart-melting moment. The comment section was showered with praises for the “mini Situations”, to borrow a phrase from a user. Another comment said jokingly, “Until one gets hurt lol, that’s how it happens to me all the time,” uniting every parent out there who has turned around and seen two siblings transform into wrestlers in half a second.
People went on to say that it was almost hard to believe how much the kids resembled their parents. One commenter said, “Romeo looks like Lauren and Mia and Luna look like Mike,” setting off a mini-debate in the comments as to whom the kids were more alike. Someone also said, “To me Lauren and Mike look so much alike so honestly those kids look like both of them lol.” Somehow these guys are crazy or trying to figure out which Sorrentino genes are winning.
It was of course funnier when the threatening comments about the duration of that calm would last until the kids would start fighting started: ‘Soak it up Miguel, they’ll fight when older,’ went one warning. Another chimed in, ‘Haha 14 seconds! It will get shorter and shorter as they grow up.’ In other words, any parent with more than one kid that ever sees peaceful playtime worth calling it ever again is rare godsend.
At long last, the prospect of another little one to ‘even it up’ for Mike and wife Lauren was finally on some fans’ minds. Another comment read, ‘Tell Lauren you need to try for another boy so you have 2 of each.’ Bold move, but hey, if anyone can handle a fourth kid, it’s probably these two.
Afterward, the largely positive response was all admiration for the Sorrentino family. “They are all so dang cute,” wrote one, while another added, “This is the cutest ❤️❤️❤️ you have a beautiful family.” Those folks clearly love to see this side of Mike—not the gym-obsessed, GTL Situation from Jersey Shore, but the proud dad who cries after 14 seconds of his kids not fighting.

And, honestly, if what he has ever posted isn’t the most relatable thing, nothing could be. Because, really, any parent will tell you those moments are worth celebrating even if they don’t last long.
