Get ready for new music from Megan Moroney!
Over the weekend, the 28-year-old country music teased a new music era on Instagram where she shared a video of herself leaving behind her Am I Okay? era. As she walked through a blue room over to a window, Megan opens the curtains to reveal a bright pink world outside.
Then on Tuesday (November 11), Megan announced that her upcoming third album will be titled Cloud 9 and she’ll be releasing it on February 20, 2026!
Keep reading to find out more…“I am so excited for my fans and I to dive into this new world of Cloud 9 together,” Megan shared in a statement via Rolling Stone. “Similar to the first two albums, it’s all written about honest, personal experiences, but these songs were written by the strongest, most confident version of myself I’ve ever been.”
“My feet feel firmly planted in my artistry and it was fun to play around sonically, while still sticking to my roots of what my fans and I love,” she continued. “Cloud 9 is a state of mind, and I have no doubt this will be the best chapter yet.”
Megan first started rolling out her new music in June with the lead single “6 Months Later.” Then in late October, she released the song “Beautiful Things.”
The country music darling first released her debut single Lucky back in May 2023. Her sophomore album Am I Okay? dropped in July 2024 and was nominated for Favorite Country Album at the 2024 American Music Awards.
During an appearance on Call Her Daddy, Megan addressed those Morgan Wallen dating rumors.
