Matty Healy’s mom Denise Welch is getting honest about Taylor Swift!
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday (July 24), the 67-year-old Loose Women co-host opened up about the pair’s relationship after host Andy Cohen asked her about The Tortured Poets Department.
The album is said to partly be about Taylor‘s romance with The 1975 frontman, including “Guilty as Sin?” “Fresh Out the Slammer,” “I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)” and “loml.”

“Obviously, on pain of death can I talk about that episode, but being her mother-in-law is a role that I am glad that I lost,” she said.
“Not that I have anything against her at all! It was just — it was tricky.”
“She — listen, you’re not allowed to say anything, and then she writes a whole album about it,” she went on to say.
She went on to share how her son has dealt with the attention that has come from dating Taylor, adding, “Matty has taken it all in completely good grace.”
“He’s very happy with his amazing fiancée Gabriella [Bechtel], who is gorgeous,” she continued.
“So, we’ve moved on,” she concluded.
