Nevertheless, the reaction was mixed. The absence of features quickly drew criticism; as one user put it, “Why isn’t there a duet with Bruno? Really disappointing not even a duet with Ariana. Two of the comments were positive, but some negativity did show, “Graveh!!! Your voice is just bad and awful!!! Bhwhwhwhwhhwhwhwhwggwwh.” Apart from this, all the other comments are positive.
The post caused a wave of speculation about certain tracks, such as “Sugar Sweet,” when a fan asked, “So is there a solo version of Sugar Sweet on the album since I don’t see Kehlani and Shenseea listed like the other features?” This comment shows the degree of attention and care that every small detail of new releases from Carey receives.
