Machine Gun Kelly Says He Turned Down Chance to Audition for ‘Sinners’


Machine Gun Kelly is revealing the movie that he refused to audition for!

The 35-year-old “cliché” singer has shown off his acting skills in a number of productions, but there’s one movie that he turned down a chance to audition for.

MGK was a guest on The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday (July 31) where he talked about being invited to audition for Sinners and revealed the reason that he turned down the audition.

“Like Sinners, I was supposed to be in that,” MGK said during the interview. “The vampire, they had me set up to do the audition — it’s the one that’s in the house, so he’s the second vampire, the one that the guy comes and eats the family. In the audition, he has to say the ‘n-word’ and I wouldn’t do it.”

From the description, it seems like MGK was talking about potentially auditioning for the role of the KKK member that was turned early in the film. The role eventually went to Peter Dreimanis.

At another point in the interview, MGK said he’s not done with acting just yet. Speaking to casting directors, he quipped, “Hey dude, I’d like to be in cinema while I still look young.”
