Chloe X Halle, two time Grammy nominees, perform in their hit Wonder and I Went to LA on one of ELLE’s 40th to celebrate anniversaries. The new ‘Best New Sound’ Style Award winners not only gently explore music but also peels back the layers of ELLE UK’s new cover with playful vulnerability, as fans learn of the artist’s image in the cover.

Its an excellent image to embody the magazine’s celebratory cover issue. Lola Young is featured in an elegant black Simone Rocha dress, with only Bulgari jewelry to accessorize, along with very simple makeup, although, in the magazine cover, it wasn’t ballet and used sparingly. Sadly, it was needed. Unlike the summit issue, the image dress she wore had a strong breeziness.
The observations have an annoying repetition as she was asked about the image procession in a different form but adding the same editing changes. For instance, one reminded that ‘’They edited your pic too much,’’ and ‘’Why ‘’ and ‘’Why did you edit her body?’’ were used to enquire the editing of the body of the editing body. Furthermore, an increased questioning was spurred by another statement: ‘’Unfortunately, Elle photoshopped you……. and I’m ok with it. But the editing was so overdone that I had to check if it was actually you in it.’’
People’s responses to the Lola Young cover were also chatting about the overwhelming contradictions in the photos. The same person put it far worse with people directly questioning the massive changes to the body when publishing with ‘’Why did you edit her body’’ and ‘’They edited your pic too much’’, with another stating ‘’Elle photoshopped you……. And I’m ok with it. But the editing was so overdone that I actually had to check if it was actually you in it.’’ That is extremely saddening and worrying as her music and personality are meant to bring some sort of positives.

The cover gives off the impression of a magazine, but, as another user pointed out, these photographic alterations are part of the public publication celebrations that should be of interest and what the publications stand for should be a cause for concern.
