Lionel Richie has teamed up with LEGO for a surprising and fun new video clip. The legendary singer shared a short clip where a LEGO version of him is performing his famous song “Hello.” This collaboration was loved by the audience since it was a mix of imagination and past bitter-sweet memories.

It doesn’t happen often that the collaboration of a music legend with a toy manufacturer takes place. Lionel Richie just did it. He shared a video on his social networks that shows a tiny LEGO character resembling him perfectly, singing the opening lines of his 1984 classic in perfect time. The text that accompanies was short and playful, saying: “When LEGO says HELLO.” The video includes the small LEGO lionel singing the famous lines, “I’ve been alone with you inside my mind,” with the dramatic pauses and that classic chorus. It’s a strange, touching mix that was not recognized by anybody as a need.
The audience’s reaction was immediate and extremely positive.
