LeAnn Rimes Looks Back at Hitting Rock Bottom, Opens Up About Health Struggles


LeAnn Rimes is opening up about in a new interview.

While speaking with Us Weekly for a new cover story, the 43-year-old country music singer and 9-1-1: Nashville actress looked back at hitting rock bottom and talked about her health struggles.

Keep reading to find out more…““We all have to break — and not just once. It will happen often,” LeAnn shared. “Rock bottom looks different for everybody [but] you have a choice. In my darkest moments, it’s always been about, How do I find the light again?”

While discussing her health struggles, LeAnn revealed the toughest part of experiencing perimenopause.

“There’s grief that comes along with it that no one talks about…it’s such a deepening of the soul and allowing pieces of us that no longer serve us to fall away,” she explained. “It is such a transformational and beautiful part of life if we know what’s going on with our bodies.”

LeAnn also spoke about going public with her struggles with psoriasis back in 2020.

“I remember when I posted the picture of me with psoriasis all over me, and it was such a moment of relief because I had been hiding that for so long,” she recalled. “The same with my mental health and now with perimenopause. Every time I talk about it, I set myself — and someone else — free.”

Over the summer, LeAnn opened up about her dental issues after she lost her teeth in the middle of a concert.
