Get ready for more Landman!
On Friday (December 5), Deadline confirmed that Paramount+ has renewed the Taylor Sheridan hit oil drama series for a third season.
The series, which is currently airing its second season, stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Ali Larter, Andy Garcia, and Sam Elliott.

Based on the 11-part podcast “Boomtown,” the series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.”
Here’s the synopsis for season 2: “As oil rises from the earth, so do secrets – and Tommy Norris’s (Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes. Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble – it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break.”
News of Landman‘s renewal comes after the season 2 premiere, which was released on November 16, broke streaming records!
According to Paramount+, the episode racked up more than 9.2 million streaming views in its first two days, a staggering 262% jump from the Landman series premiere.
