Lady Gaga is getting in on the countdown clock trend and fans think they know what she’s counting down to right now!
The “Disease” singer is currently traveling the world on her Mayhem Ball Tour and she launched a countdown clock on her website ahead of her show on Friday night (August 22) at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
In the past couple weeks, Taylor Swift has popularized countdown clocks with three different countdowns on her website. The first one ended with the announcement of her album The Life of a Showgirl and the next two both ended with the release of new vinyl variants of the album.
The countdown on Gaga‘s website will end at 7:15pm ET on Friday night. So, what is it for?

Fans think they know what the countdown means.
The countdown ends at 7:15pm, which is when the screens at Gaga‘s shows begin a “Voices of Mayhem” segment, allowing fans to write in and have their messages appear on the big screen before the show.
The countdown clock is pasted on top of New York’s Voices of Mayhem prompt: “Who did you become when you stopped pretending to belong?”
Gaga fans shouldn’t be on the lookout for a major surprise!
One fan account noted, “It’s just when the voices of mayhem thing opens, she isn’t dropping anything or doing any crazy surprises lol.”
Another noted, “literally the timer is taped to the question.”
