The untitled sitcom, written by Call Me Kat‘s Alissa Neubauer, will follow “Mary (Chenoweth) who is required to complete community service as the director of a local church choir where she’ll be dragged kicking, screaming and singing toward redemption.”

Deadline reports that this series was sold to NBC before she was cast in Stumble, but it just has taken a long time to negotiate the deal.

The series won’t be airing anytime soon because Kristin is about to launch her new Broadway musical The Queen of Versailles and she’s committed to that project for a while!
