Kim Kardashian Shares Her Surprising Reaction to Getting Cheated on

Kim Kardashian is opening up about her surprisingly calm reaction to getting cheated on. 

On the Wednesday, Oct. 15, episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, the 44-year-old admitted that she had been cheated on in the past and discovered it when her unnamed ex told her “long after” the alleged incident occurred. 

“I just kind of was like, ‘Tell me more,’ ” the mother of four recalled of her reaction. 

She added that she didn’t end the relationship after learning of the unfaithfulness. 

“I was in a tough position. I didn’t,” she said. “And I was in a tough position because I don’t think they were in a position to have shared that information. It wasn’t like a healthy place. And so I kind of didn’t know if I should take it seriously or not. I had to wait a time period to really assess and see what was happening.”

She said that if it had happened when she was younger, her response would have been more passionate. 

“When you’re in your 20s and stuff, it’s like all out psycho war, like, take them down,” she mused. “Psychoness when you’re in one of those — and that has happened  but it’s like calling the person. I’ll always call the person and go off,” clarifying that she has called the person her ex cheated on her with and told them off, adding, “God, it’s been so long.” 

“The psycho side of me would come out just to make the call, and then I’d be like, ‘Okay, that felt good,’ ” Kardashian shared.

However, Kardashian said that as she’d aged, she has tempered her reactions. 

“I think I’m just at a phase and at an — I hate to be like ‘at this age’ — but it’s like, what’s the point?” she said.  

During the interview, Kardashian noted that she’s currently “single” and said she hasn’t been in a “toxic relationship” since her split from Kanye West. 

This isn’t the first time the SKIMS founder has admitted to being cheated on. In 2017, she opened up about another experience with being the subject of infidelity while being interviewed by Jennifer Lawrence on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

“It was on my birthday,” she said at the time. “I was at dinner with all of my best friends, put it on speaker board wondering where my boyfriend was. He was flying in town to meet another girl on my birthday and lied to me that he was in a different city.”
