First, season 29 of The Voice is supposed to begin taping shows on August 21. Kelly was announced to be returning to the lineup of coaches for the season, which will air in the Spring of 2026. It’s unclear if the schedule will be changing at this time.

Six weeks ago, Kelly‘s talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, updated that they had concluded season six and would be kicking off season 7 shows in the fall sometime. No specific release date has been revealed just yet, but season six debuted on September 23, 2024. Fans had been expecting a similar premiere date for season 7.

Finally, another big premiere is happening for Kelly, but this appears to be pre-taped. Kelly is hosting a four-night primetime event on NBC titled Kelly Clarkson: Songs & Stories. She will be interviewing performers including Gloria Estefan, the Jonas Brothers, Lizzo and Teddy Swims.

The trailer for that was released just a few weeks ago, and you can watch that above. It will air weekly between August 19 through September 9 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.

Our condolences go out to the Blackstock family as they mourn this loss.
