Keanu Reeves held hands with his girlfriend of seven years, Alexandra Grant, at opening night of his play Waiting for Godot, which took place at the Hudson Theatre in Midtown Manhattan on Sunday.
The 61-year-old Matrix alum officially made his Broadway debut as the hapless Estragon in director Jamie Lloyd’s revival of the 1952 Samuel Beckett surrealist tragicomedy, which runs through January 4, 2026.
Keanu – who relies on stylist Jeanne Yang – cleaned up in a black blazer over a white shirt, silver necktie, grey pin-stripe trousers, and dirty brown hiking boots.
The 52-year-old artist – whom Reeves calls ‘my honey’ – opted for a black cap-sleeve maxi-dress and matching patent leather ballet flats along with a glittery diamond necklace.
The International Emmy-winning producer originally met Alexandra at a dinner party in 2009 before contributing poetry to two of her books, Ode to Happiness in 2011 and Shadows in 2016.
Keanu and Grant co-founded the small publishing imprint X Artists’ Books in 2017 alongside Jessica Fleischmann before they officially began dating in 2018.

Following rumors they secretly wed, the grantLOVE project founder posted a PDA snap of the couple captioned: ‘This is a real photo. Not an engagement photo or an AI wedding announcement… simply a kiss! I’m sharing it here to say thank you to everyone for the congratulations on our wedding.
‘Except we didn’t get married. Good news is much needed these days, but it’s still fake news, so be careful out there! So, here’s a bit of real happiness!’
And last Monday, Reeves’ publicist told E! News: ‘It is not true. They are not married.’
In honor of the Beirut-born Canadian’s birthday on September 2, Alexandra shared a snap of his heart-shaped cake captioned: ‘I am so grateful for your love and partnership.’
And when Grant saw the September 13th preview for Waiting for Godot, she gushed to Keanu: ‘Your hard work and dedication to trying something new and brave is so inspiring, artist to artist. Your Estragon is unlike any I’ve seen before – like a boy at times, and then raging like a man when A Boy arrives.
‘Your Estragon is funny, lonely, pensive, philosophical and shares your ability to sleep anywhere, at any time! So honored to go on this creative journey with you!’
