The famous Karrueche Tran, after being engaged since March 2022, started planning her first ever wellness retreat, and all the buzz is very real. However, some of the finer details of the retreat plans under Rootie Beauty were recently unmasked: they will take place in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, between the 14th and 18th of August. Set up in a star-five hotel, the Impression Hotel, promises meditation, yoga, breathwork, and fire shows, or might I say, why not?

In her Instagram announcement, Karrueche was ecstatic. “I really wanted to create a safe space for women to touch base with themselves,” she exclaimed. “The retreat will focus on reconnecting-with yourself and with each other-and soaking up the last bits of summer. Let’s be real; after Ibiza, you really need to unwind,” she added.
I mean, the itinerary is really bomb. Meditation and yoga sessions with @dhyanibella in the mornings are followed by a photography session with @banvoa, who also worked on the Rootie Beauty campaign. Next, it’s a cooking class. Oh, and oh, there will be bonfires! Because vibes.
Needless to say, the comments ranged from extremely excited to reality check. The pop-up queen wasted no time asking how much it would cost, and there were a couple of responses some might classify as “slaps in the face.” “$1500+/night,” one said. “Bold of you to assume we got money,” another replied. Fair enough. That never hurts when you split with a friend, though; $750 a night, still very steep but somewhat bearable.
While others are 100% down for it. “Every woman needs this at least twice a month,” another commenter said, especially “if they have kids and a family.” Preach. Then a fan gave the worthwhile advice; “Never let ANYONE steal your youth and spirit.” Deep, but on point.
Then, the inevitable request for a co-ed retreat began: “Do a coed retreat! I’m there 4sure.” Sorry, fellas, this one’s ladies only.
And, of course, some couldn’t resist stirring the pot. The “Karrueche crying in a damn hospital” bomb dropped- for no reason!-sent chaos right down the line. And it was just the warming-up for “Unc has no toes” because… Instagram.
At least generally, across most divides, there was positive support. “This is going to be 🔥🔥🔥❤️,” it was declared by one. And I say, it just might do that.

Obviously, Karrueche’s retreat is on the realignment side rather than a grand holiday. The sold-out tickets now show she has tapped into what ladies want; respect the vision, either if you can buy a ticket or not. Who is booking their flight now?
