Julia Roberts Teams a $242,800 Rainbow Necklace with a Barbie Pink Dress She Previously Wore in 2022

Julia Roberts is rewearing an old favorite from her wardrobe — and accessorizing with some pricey bling!

The actress, 57, attended the Los Angeles special screening of her latest film After the Hunt on Friday, Oct. 4, where she re-wore a plunging hot pink dress that she previously stepped out in on the 2022 red carpet for her rom-com Ticket to Paradise.

The brightly colored midi dress, designed by Greta Constantine, showed off a hint of cleavage. She paired the bold dress — which featured puffed sleeves that stopped at her elbow — with black heels and a stunning $242,800 Sabyasachi necklace that contained rainbow rubellite, sapphire, labradorite and thulite stones set with diamonds. She also wore a pair of drop earrings from the brand, which retail for $18,000.

When Roberts wore her pink gown for the Ticket to Paradise premiere, she kept her neck bare and instead opted for oversized amethyst drop earrings. The dress also grazed the red carpet at the time, indicating that Roberts has since had the gown hemmed.

Her stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, gave some context behind both of the looks in a Sunday, Oct. 5 Instagram post.

“@juliaroberts Bringing back Pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. This @gretaconstantine at last night’s #AftertheHunt Premiere was first worn in 2022 for #TickettoParadise,” Stewart shared, noting that she added a “@sabyasachiofficial necklace✨💖 @sergenormant @genevieveherr @aquazzura shoes on carpet and @vivaia_official worn for comfort after!”

The hot pink dress serves as a departure from some of Roberts’ recent looks. On Thursday, Oct. 2, the Pretty Woman actress stepped wore a two-piece gray suit paired with a gray button-down shirt and a quirky tie covered in tiny forks, spoons and other three-dimensional elements.

The unique tie is far from the only fun fashion moment that Roberts has had in recent months. Ahead of her red carpet appearance at the Venice Film Festival, she stunned in a funky cardigan with After the Hunt director Luca Guadagnino’s face on it on Aug. 27.

She later reflected on the bold wardrobe choice in a Sept. 10 interview with Vanity Fair, and gave her stylist a shout out for pulling the look together.

“I have to give a lot of credit to [stylist] Elizabeth Stewart, ’cause we hatched this plan a while ago,” she told the outlet. “I love to do things like that during a press tour, wear clothes with my cast mates’ and directors’ faces on them to show my love and appreciation. I like to have fun and mix it up, and not be serious all the time.”

“Luca was super chuffed by it,” Roberts added. “He’s so fashion driven and he’s so design oriented, so I was really happy that he was really chuffed.”
