An audiobook attributed to Craig Thomas is to feature his ‘How I Met Your Mother’ friends, Cobie Smulders and Josh Radnor. Thomas shared a clip of Radnor offering his lines, from which several scenes of Smulders were shown, and together, helped the author produce the video. The story crafted by Nolan and his riveting family unit is about to be given an addition of the stories presented by Radnor, Smulders, Marli Watson, and Kevin Daniels, and the expected outcome is something very emotional.

The news was disclosed on social media by Thomas by posting an image of Radnor hard at work in a studio. Radnor, in the picture, appeared wholly committed to his work and was using an iPad pro for the script, along with a professional-grade microphone and a pair of headphones for voice recording. The listening experience was greatly improved with the walls of the room painted in red in a way that quadrupled the room’s coziness and allowed a warm, soothing vibe to be around the rich sound environment.
Thomas also utilized his social media account to appreciatively extend his gratitude to Radnor by sharing the photo. Thomas, with heartfelt words, shared, “I’ve been so lucky, for so long, to have Josh elevate my writing with his performances,” and thanked the actor for making his skills stand, which he is not, “superior and intelligent.” Besides, Thomas stated that due to Radnor’s involvement with the cast, Thomas has managed to “sneak in a last-minute mini HIMYM reunion,” and the fans have received the news with much thrill.
Announced to be released under HarperCollins’ Hanover Square Press, That’s Not How It Happened is the name of the book to be released on November 4. He also gave further details regarding his website which is available for pre-order along with a few clarifications.
The much-loved sit-com as fans described the image itself elicited a stream of heartfelt and joyful comments. “Shout out to the beloved duo. I will have this on repeat,” a fan mentioned, referring to the “How I Met Your Mother” podcast done by Thomas and Radnor.
Another fan shared a light-hearted enthusiasm that was quite delightful, one which was borrowed from a known phrase that many “How I Met Your Mother” fans would remember and joked stating “Bros look out for bros. This is going to be Legend..Wait for it…Dary!” Saying so brings out the memories of the fun character Barney Stinson portrayed by the famous actor, Neil Patrick Harris, which shows the TV show has continued to capture the hearts of its audience.
The most latest showing was the user that genuinely confessed, “I do not listen to audiobooks (I plan to buy your book in hard copy and enjoy the true essence of it the old fashion way) but I might have to indulge myself to an audiobook so that I can reunite with the cast and enjoy Cobie and Josh together.” Multiple social media users stated they fully planned on buying the audiobook considering the reunion of the cast.
To Thomas and the cast, Radnor added a comment, appreciating their literary adventure: “I’m so excited for this! Good luck!” showed how supportive he was of the project, and he even sprinkled in a clover emoji, which was a subtle project endorsement in the hands of his friend.

Such audiobooks and other coupled Thomas efforts are a stark departure, yet Radio was very jazzed up about these new Radnor offerings and was more than happy to give his friend a hand. “How I Met Your Mother” is the only Radnor’s venture with Craig Thomas, which grew affectionately until 2014, and the two launched the book with high expectation and grew kind of protective family. For the Radnor fans, the book is the visit to HIMYM alternate universe and in legend- wait for it- Radnor manner.
