The owner of the sheep, Joe Ginger, also reportedly confirmed the attack to the publication this week, adding: ‘I take my work and my sheep very seriously, it is my business. It is a serious matter.’
The tragic incident is said to have taken place on farmland near Johnny’s sprawling country home, which he is believed to have recently rented for a reported £12,000 per month.
A source told the publication: ‘Johnny was not at the house at the time, and his aide was walking the dog.
They added: ‘He broke free and went after the sheep. Two were killed. It was all very traumatic.’
Farmer Mr Ginger is said to be ‘understandably furious’, with the source claiming attacks like this are all too common in the area, especially when dogs are not properly trained.
Johnny was reportedly very upset upon hearing about the incident, particularly as he is known to value privacy and the peaceful atmosphere of his countryside retreat.
