Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope are having another baby!
Nearly a year after they reconciled, the 49-year-old Blossum actor and the 38-year-old actress announced at the Dancing with the Stars 20th anniversary episode on Tuesday (November 11) that they are expecting their second child.
Keep reading to find out more…“Nothing is planned. Not even this,” Joey told Entertainment Tonight while pointing to Samantha‘s baby bump. “This is not planned. No, I’m kidding. I’m kidding.”
While he’s excited about their growing family, Joey said that he doesn’t want the spotlight on him during this moment.
“It’s not me. She’s the one actually doing the work,” Joey said, looking at his wife. “I’m just here going, ‘Look at this.’”
As for how she’s doing during pregnancy, Samantha noted, “I feel greet.”
She also revealed that she and Joey are expecting a baby boy!
If you didn’t know, Joey and Samantha married back in May 2022 and welcomed their daughter Dylan in 2023. She filed for divorce in August 2024 citing “irreconcilable differences” and requested full physical custody and shared legal custody of Dylan. However, four months later, they announced that they had reconciled.
Joey is also dad to daughters Charli, 19, and Libby Grace, 15, whom he shares with ex-wife Chandie Yawn-Nelson.
