Jimmy Kimmel Sarcastically Thanks Donald Trump Following Late-Night Show Suspension – Watch Now!

Jimmy Kimmel is (sarcastically) thanking Donald Trump after returning to the air.

Earlier this week, the 57-year-old late-night host’s show Jimmy Kimmel Live! returned following a six-day suspension.

During his opening monologue on Thursday night (September 25), Jimmy shared that he will be taking the show to Brooklyn, New York for a few episodes next week and also took a moment to thank the President now that he’s back on the air.

Jimmy then addressed his show getting its biggest ratings in years, even though it’s still not airing in multiple cities around the country.

“Even though we’re still being preempted in 60 American cities, on Tuesday, we had our second-highest rated show in almost 23 years on the air,” Jimmy shared. “Our monologue from Tuesday night has more than 21 million views just on YouTube alone.”

He then heckled Trump, who just threatened to sue ABC for allowing Kimmel! to return.

“And I want to say, we couldn’t have done it without you, Mr. President,” Jimmy joked. “Thank you very much.”

If you didn’t see, an Oscar-winning actor made a surprise appearance during Jimmy Kimmel Live!‘s first show after the suspension.
