The 46-year-old Succession actor is “the top choice” to play the Meta CEO and Facebook founder, per Deadline.

Jeremy Allen White and Mikey Madison are reportedly also top choices to star with Aaron Sorkin writing and directing.

The film is described as a follow-up to the original 2010 movie starring Jesse Eisenberg as the Facebook CEO, which explored the beginnings of what would become the world’s biggest social media platform.

The screenplay for the new movie explores the story behind the Wall Street Journal‘s The Facebook Files by Jeff Horowitz, published in October 2021, exposing the inner workings of the company.

Jeremy would play the author of the articles, and Mikey would play the whistleblower behind the series of articles.
