In a recent interview with Howard Stern, Jennifer Lopez expressed her happiness about what she called the ‘best endorsement ever’. The multi-talented Lopez connected with the audience of a renowned radio show to promote her new movie, ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’, and took the liberty to share part of the conversation with the host, Howard Stern, who unexpectedly gave the movie a high and favorable rating. Lopez was grateful for the confirmation and was still more convincing in her message that the movie was worth the trip to the theaters, which is still being shown.

She talked about how big a change it would be to go platinum blonde, something she was unsure about initially. “I did try to wear wigs sometimes and they almost always looked so awful on my skin color,” Lopez said. The transformation was so significant that all her presentations had to be altered. She even said that her makeup, lip color, and even her physical posture had to be changed to be ‘a different person’ to her audience anyway. Her makeup artist, Scott Barnes, was having her foundation mixed with more pink tones to match the drastic color change in hair.
Lopez seemed to be really moved by Stern’s kind and enthusiastic talk. “This is like the best endorsement I’ve ever had,” she said to him, acknowledging that he is known to be very frank. She then expressed her hope that his good word would pull more people to the cinemas to see the movie, “I hope they go see it. I really do. It was that good.” This film is a new take on the story, which is originally a novel by Manuel Puig from the 1970s, that later on, won an Oscar for the film version in the 1980s and a Tony for a Broadway musical.
