Jen Affleck is one multitasking mom!
Not only is the 26-year-old hard at work on Dancing With The Stars, gearing up for Wicked Week, but she’s also in the midst of another season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
This week, the mom of three has been splitting her time between Los Angeles and Utah, but she handles it like a pro, she tells PEOPLE.
The reality star is at her best when she’s balancing her busy workload with all things family, which was exactly her approach to a particularly wild week. Now, she’s ready to get back to the dancefloor and pursue her dream.

Zac’s Special Surprise

Jen went into Dedication Night with a special boost, courtesy of husband Zac Affleck, who collected stories from fans and friends of how Jen has inspired them and decorated her trailer with them ahead of her performance.
“Zac surprised me by decorating my trailer with hundreds of words of encouragement from social media. Knowing that what I’m doing is impacting people from so many corners is mind-blowing,” she writes of the moment she saw the surprise.

Jen is also overjoyed that this journey has helped her share an unforgettable experience with her mom, who danced with her during Dedication Night.
“Having my mom perform with me and Jan last week was so magical. This is us post-show, just relishing and reliving the moments!” Jen says.

Jen is pulling double duty, filming season 4 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives amid her busy DWTS schedule.
“My gorgeous costar Jessi Draper Ngatikaura, who, if you didn’t know, is very good at hair,” she jokes.
“We split our time between L.A. and Utah this week because while I’m doing DWTS, I’m still filming The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”
A Grounding Moment

For Jen, it’s important to take time each week to get back to basics, which includes quality time with her family.
“Through it all, family over everything! A rare moment of downtime with my favorites!” she says of a sweet photo where the kids stand around them.
